Timelines
The Framework
The SDG11 Global Council formulated a pragmatic, high-level implementation framework for cities to utilize in progressing towards the targets of SDG 11.
Access to Finance
Business, whether multinational conglomerates or fresh startups, deeply intertwined with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) concerns. It makes sense, therefore, that a strong ESG proposition can create value and through this pillar we aim to provide companies, specifically to those seeking finance, means of assessing the linkages of their solutions to globally acknowledged ESG finance standards.
Thought Leaderships
Providing current state analyses of successful models of various global cities in building sustainable cities and communities, future state vision of cities that are designed to be resilient to pandemics, and a showcase of new streams of urban solutions.
Capacity Building
The council is committed towards building the next generation of leaders in sustainable cities and communities. This will be done by leveraging local and regional success stories, and through identifying platforms through which the council will facilitate training and awareness sessions.
